Carrier Launches Comprehensive Indoor Air Quality Initiative Amid Wildfire-Induced Air Hazards

Date:

INDIANAPOLIS – Carrier has announced a robust program to address the increasingly poor air quality caused by widespread wildfires throughout the United States and Canada. Recognizing the public health risks associated with airborne particulate matter, the company is urging property owners to adopt preventive measures to maintain safe indoor environments. Recommended actions include the use of high-efficiency HVAC filters, sealing entry points to limit smoke intrusion, and deploying HEPA-enabled portable air purification systems.

Nick Arch, Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions at Carrier, emphasized the urgency of indoor protection. “Outdoor air is not the only risk during wildfire events. Indoor spaces are also vulnerable to harmful contaminants. Carrier’s advanced technologies are designed to mitigate these threats and provide peace of mind to families and communities.”

The company’s portfolio includes premium filtration and purification solutions. In a demonstration of corporate responsibility, Carrier recently donated $2.5 million in air purifiers to frontline workers and educational institutions across Los Angeles.
